Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist
Rebecca is a masters level counselor. She primarily works with children and adolescents, although also enjoys working with adults and families. She uses an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy to work with a wide range of emotional and psychosocial stressors. She believes that there is healing and hope for every circumstance and is constantly encouraged by her clients as they demonstrate both strength and bravery in overcoming life’s challenges.
Rebecca received her B.S. in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and her M.A. in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Hardin Simmons University. She is a Registered Play Therapist and believes that play is a child’s first language. Through play, she believes clients can work through difficulties and achieve both growth and development.
